celebrating some of KK's more eclectic works.

KK
& The Mediaeval Baebes have started work on what is to be the groups 6th album, due
for release this autumn. KK describes the project as "an epic, etheric
and exotic journey through the olde English world of the Baebes. Expect the
unexpected.."

Nayo's
steamy new single "Desert Storm" is out now. Having already got hearts racing
with its sexy blend of sensual vocals and seductive Spanish-influenced guitars. The
track was produced and co-written by KK, and is the lead track on Nayo's debut album (due
out early in the new year), it has recieved lots of airplay on UK radio and Smax &
Gold's club remix of the track has been going down a storm on the club scene entering the
club charts at no 4.
KK
was interviewed about by Turnkeys official magazine 'Reverb' this month, mostly on
his recent endorsement of SE microphones (non-nerds might want to skip to the next
article)..
KK and
Rainbow Collections partner Sophie Barker have just returned from making music and filming
a documentary (directed by their friend David Toba) in Kenya.
They
have been working with local schoolchildren there on a project to raise awareness of the
drastic effects of climate change in the region, a CD, DVD of the project
are
expected to be ready for release sometime later in the year, as Volume 2 of their Rainbow
Collections "childrens" (and adults) music collection (volume one being
'Lullaby').

KK has
accepted a rather unusual request: to join the panel of judges for next year's 'We Are
Listening' internet music competition, "I hope to challenge what judges on
these things tend to go for, ie the obvious, safe choices" he says. More

KKs
hour long set of 'old skool' 80s style tunes accompanied the stunning 'flairing' battles
of expert bar tenders at Monday's 'Flairmotion' flair bartending competition at Riverside
Studios in West London.
The
show was a knockout competition filmed for MTV, and included a pop idol esque panel of
world renowned 'flairing' experts, and, er, Bez.

KK
& Sophie Barker's magical cover of the John Denver classic 'Leaving on a Jet Plane' is
being featured as the new campaign music for British Airways. The commercials
are showing extensively on primetime international TV and radio worldwide.
Contraversial
film 'The Fall Of Adam' (directed by Gail Sneddon) has its world premiere at the Brighton
Festival this year (DanceShorts 2006), on Sunday 21st May. The film features a

The movie gets its US premiere at the Brooklyn International Film Festival (for info click here)
A moody
piece of music by KK, appropriately named 'Holy Blood Holy Grail', is being considered for
the opening scene of the forthcoming 'Da Vinci Code' movie soundtrack, the
big-screen adaption of the hit book by Dan Brown, directed by Ron Howard. The piece
was written by KK especially with the film in mind for the film's musical director Hans
Zimmer.

KK's
publishing is now managed by RAK
Publishing in London. He signed a deal 'with old friends' at the famous old
studio / music company, founded by legendary record producer Mickie Most, earlier this
month.
As part
of a campaign by NPR & IRC to raise awareness of the horrific situation in wartorn
Uganda, where children are subjected to unimaginable cruelty and forced to fight as
frontline soldiers, Martine & KK's song 'Peace is With The Children' was be
performed at the main awareness event in London this summer, and is being played
extensively as part of an awareness campaign on Uganda radio. The record will be
available as part of a compilation released especially to raise awareness of the much

Tickets
are now on sale (via ticketweb.co.uk) for Sophie Barker & KK's special childrens xmas
concert of 'Lullaby' , on December 13th at The Bush Hall in London, with
proceeds going to Great Ormond Street childrens hospital. An appearance from Santa

The Tom
Cruise blockbuster movie is released in Uk cinemas on Sept 17th. The film has
already been a massive hit in the states, and features some of KK's music (with James
Newton Howard).
Lullaby,
the beautiful childrens album by KK and Sophie Barker (of Zero 7), is due for
release in the Uk on November 22nd (via SonyBMG). A special christmas
concert is being planned to mark the release..
The long awaited solo
album from ex-James singer, Tim Booth, has been released (in both the UK and the US) on
Sanctuary Records. 'Bone' features 7 songs Tim & KK wrote together,
